From last night’s USC Scripter Awards, honoring the best adaptation of book to film/series.
Winners were:
Screenwriter Mike Makowsky for the episode “Destiny of the Republic,” from “Death by Lightning,” based on the nonfiction book “Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine, and the Murder of a President” by author Candice Millard.
Screenwriter Paul Thomas Anderson for “One Battle After Another” inspired by the novel “Vineland” by author Thomas Pynchon.
Mr Makowsky delivered gracious, witty thanks. Mr Pynchon was not, alas, with us detained by a Tupperware party whose hostess had put perhaps too much kirsch in the fondue. Mr Anderson accepted graciously via video.
My own remarks can be found here.

I visited this site on a friend recommendation and I am really glad I did. The game selection is huge and the live dealer options make it feel like being at a real casino table. Payments go through without any hassle and I love the regular promotions. It has quickly become my favorite gaming destination. casinovulkanvegas

inicicigames delivers a genuinely enjoyable gaming environment from the moment you land on the homepage. The navigation is intuitive and the search function helps me jump straight to my favorite titles. I also value the transparent wagering requirements and the fact that they offer demo modes so I can test games risk free. Solid platform with top notch performance. inicicigames
I was skeptical at first but the registration process took less than a minute. The bonus terms are actually readable and fair. I have tried a few table games and the dealers are friendly and professional. It is rare to find a platform that balances entertainment with responsible gaming so well. betwey
